This Privacy Policy explains how FLIP+ e-assessment community collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use flip-plus.org, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.
Data controller
FLIP+ e-assessment community, a non-profit association registered at 13 rue des Charmeuses, 92370 Chaville, France (SIREN 879 696 540), is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website.

What data we collect
- Contact and enquiry forms: first name, last name, email address, institution or organisation (optional), country (optional), type of enquiry, and message content.
- Membership requests: identity and professional details you provide when applying to join FLIP+ or a Working Group.
- Account data: if you register for restricted areas of the site, your username, email address, and password (stored encrypted).
- Usage data: automatically collected technical and behavioural data via analytics tools (see Cookies below).
Why we process your data
- To respond to your enquiries and manage membership or Working Group requests (based on your consent and/or on steps taken prior to entering into an agreement).
- To manage your account and provide access to member areas of the site (based on the performance of the relationship between you and FLIP+).
- To understand how the website is used and improve its content and usability (based on our legitimate interest, or your consent where required for non-essential cookies).
How long we keep your data
Enquiry and contact form data is kept for as long as necessary to process your request, and no longer than 3 years after our last contact with you. Membership and account data is kept for the duration of your membership and, after termination, only as long as necessary to meet our legal or administrative obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the retention periods set by Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, as described in our Cookies Policy.
Who receives your data
Your data is accessible to the FLIP+ Secretariat and, where relevant, to the Steering Committee or Working Group coordinators involved in handling your request. We also use the following processors, which may involve a transfer of data outside the European Union, under appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses):
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — audience measurement.
- Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity) — session behaviour analysis to improve the website.
- Our website hosting provider, OVH SAS (France).
Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data, and the right to restrict or object to its processing. You may exercise these rights at any time by contacting info@flip-plus.org. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), at www.cnil.fr.

FLIP+ takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.
